How do bees make honey?

Answer: They collect a sugary liquid found at the base of flower petals called nectar, by using their long thin tongue. This liquid is stored in its special stomach called a honey sac. This is where the nectar starts the process of being converted into honey. When the  honey sac is full, the bee returns to the hive or nest and places the nectar into storage where the final change into honey takes place.
